Happy Halloween! No tricks!

  Our apologies for being late with this Newsletter this week. My eye doctor appointment and an extremely long recovery of the "dilation process" left me squinting most of yesterday. The doctor says that I have early case of AMD (age related macular degeneration) and the 2-1/2 hours spent in the office yesterday was focused on determining the issues and a plan to best deal with this condition. The prototype for this structure was one of the hundreds of photographs done for the Farm Security Administration by Walker Evans. The photo for this particular inspiration was about 1936 somewhere in Alabama.
