The Weekly Gazette (a/k/a The Little Pittsburg Saloon) #111 HO/HOn3
About This Auction
|

from the kit instructions
The model GAZETTE structure was designed from two prototype structures still standing at Victor, Colorado, the famous mining camp near Cripple Creek. One was the local newspaper office, the other was the LITTLE PITTSBURG SALOON, whose name we've included in the decal sheet provided with the model. Taking the best features of each prototype, we've combined them in to an HO scale model that will be at home on any era of layout from 1890 to present and will look as good on a busy downtown street as it would tucked off alone at a backwoods crossroads high in the mountains.
The model may be assembled in approximately two evenings using only normal modeler's tools and white glue. Use of a cyanoacrylate (ACC) adhesive is suggested for certain assembly operations.
This kit is in excellent condition and has a lot more to it than this image shows including the bag of detail parts that you see on the platform; on the roof; and around the image. This kit also comes with its original full-page "detailed" instructions and drawings to show where all the parts can go. And all the parts in this kit are still in their sealed bags. The box has hardly any shelf wear.
This is a static model and you can expect to spend 10-12 hours (or more if you get carried away with detailing) in assembly, painting and weathering (Doctor Ben's, of course). You buy from Fine Scale Miniatures Biz with confidence! We build what we sell.
The footprint of this structure is- 4-3/4" x
6"
