So, you are interested in building your Jordan vehicles. Simplify your life, use what Doctor Ben' uses to assemble Jordan kits!. We personally have been using this product to assemble all those plastic Jordan kits and white-metal SS Limited/On-Trak/Wheel Works kits you see on the great dioramas that I build as well as a bunch of resin kits for at least a couple of years now. Anyway, Doctor Ben's now offers the G-S Hypo Cement for non-porous materials . . . -Permanently Cement Plastic, Resin & Metal Parts (& "painted" wood -Model Building—Military, Vehicles, Figures, Ships, Aircraft, & More! -Model Railroads—Plastic, White Metal & Brass Kits-no more soldering! -And a bunch more materials including Industrial Applications (I used it to repair the sandpaper on my bench sander the other day)
So, you are interested in weathering your Jordan vehicles. Take a close look at the following image. It is the finishing step of our five step weathering process-one process of several weathering processes. If you are curious, scroll down some more. I get more questions about how I created the weathering in this image than most any other image. Honestly, it is VERY easy. I start out by painting the castings (metal, wood, resin, it doesn't matter) a flat black or black primer. I then wash the entire surface with our Doctor Ben's Aged Driftwood (a replacement for Floquil Driftwood) and after the Aged Driftwood dries, I use Sharpie markers to color in the details (be sure to use permanent markers-anything else will fade over time).I then use the Doctor Ben's Micro Blaster with Instant Age and spray the entire surface. When this is about dry, I come back with our Doctor Ben's Industrial Weathering Pigments and brush on Rust, and Dust and Soot and whatever else is open. That's it, I promise! You will find all of these mentioned products and many other great Doctor Ben's products in our !
