ABOUT THIS MATERIAL: BIS Rolled Tar Paper is available in five realistic colors plus plain matte black. Prototype Tar paper is usually supplied in 3-4' foot wide rolls. BIS has laser-cut it to scale 3/4" widths, and applied self-adhesive to the back. Simply peal and stick with a slight overlap. HINTS: Material can be applied to a solid base (like card stock) or over stripwood frame or planking. ROLLED TAR PAPER can run in either direction.

WEATHERING: The color can be further weathered by sanding it with a very fine grit garnet paper, or accented with the use of Doctor Ben's Weathering Solutions & Industrial Pigments. The edges can be torn to show great wear (very effective over planking on walls or roofs). Weather the tar paper by streaking lightly with Doctor Ben's Weathering Pigments. Use (Black Soot #1340) dust near chimneys or vents. Use Doctor Ben's Pitch Black (#1072 or Durty Black ((#1091 for additional "tar".

INSTALL applied self-adhesive, and laser cut them to width. Peal them off and apply them to your sub-roof. You are done in seconds.
