   If you look at the top of the left column in this newsletter you see the "roofless" HO Industrial Engine Shed 'Pilot Model'. The reason that the Pilot Model is roofless is because I got 'artist block'; a/k/a I got stuck on a tarpaper to offer with this kit that I was satisfied with  Originally, I had planned on using the Builder's in Scale tarpaper, but that would only add more costs into the cost of the kit. And so I did what I promised myself that I would not do and that was I shoved a square peg into a round hole and all I ended up with was a square peg with rounded edges or in other words, a tarpaper that I was not happy with.

 
Enter; Red-Oxide Pitch Tarpaper! It has taken a good deal of experimentation and quite a few hours of perfecting a consistent product, but I finally have a product based on our own Precision Peel-n-Stik shingle application only with color and ease of installation. That's the good news. The great news for YOU is that we have a bunch of practice sheets that I could have thrown away, but instead we will give away *free* in customer orders until all the practice Tarpaper efforts are all gone. I have to caution you, the "practice" sample are just that and will not look quite as great as the final Red-Oxide Pitch Tarpaper due to variations of 'shiny or not shiny,' differences in the colors, and some strange results that I'm not quite sure why they happened.
