Doctor Ben's 8-Color Wood Stain Set #1 Tired of the costly, smelly petroleum based stains that seemingly evaporated overnight by that once famous—now defunct—Floquil® Flo-Stain product line? Good news, Doctor Ben’s has now brought to you a line of environmentally friendly stains that are color fast and are ready-to-use when you are!
Doctor Ben's Aged Driftwood Weathering Stain-8oz It was just a few years ago that Testor's® purchased the Floquil® line of petroleum & water based paints & stains. And although no one knows the actual truth as to why Testor's® stopped producing the widely popular line of Floquil® Flo-Stains, I wasn't bothered that much. Due to the amount of model building I do for some very special customers I had already evolved my use of paints and stains to the same permanent, but non-petroleum based products with the exact same results—some twelve years ago. Maybe it was the price, maybe it was the smell, either way, using my created weathering stains only improved the quality of my modeling and when Floquil stopped making the Flo-Stains, I didn't panic. The Doctor Ben's Aged Driftwood that I use and now sell to you is a scientifically matched product to our 1983 Floquil® Flo-Stain bottle of product and no one is the wiser!

Without shaking the Rustic Oak (#1081) quickly wash the detail. Use some Realistic Rust (#1050) to color the rusty metal bands & metal parts and allow to dry.
