Here Comes Hurricane Dorian!

According to Atlanta Weather folks, Hurricane Dorian may land in Florida sometime around Labor Day! Florida's Governor has already told folks to prepare. Our best hopes to everyone affected!
So far we've been promoting the sale of our Scale Model Masterpieces business. I mentioned last week that we had uploaded some 80 general images of the material, equipment, etc and now that number is more like 90 images. So in my spare time, I've been able to work on the Doctor Ben's Business For Sale listing. Although it's not quite done I've gotten a considerable amount of information in the listing with still more to come.
We did receive a question of our Shipping Room image and why it was included. The answer is quite simple; several discussions that we've had with interested Buyers is that when both business are purchase by a single Buyer, the Buyer would get all of the shipping and packing materials as well. When we say that this is a turn-key opportunity, we mean exactly that--everything associated with the businesses is included.
Finally, since we are not able to finance the sale of this opportunity, there are a number of lenders such as Paypal, Square, SoFi, etc who could provide a potential Buyer a line of credit in the event that you don't have a wealthy relative or friend who might be able to assist you. Perhaps someone could organize a co-op of investers!
A sign that Summer is about to wind down is that Georgia schools are back in session and we've been fortunate to have a few days last week in the 70 and 80 degree temperatures-WHEW! Guess we'll see you in the Hobby Room ...

Doctor Ben's How-To #4: "Hot Glue Casting" Booklet by Richard Bendever! A number of years ago I was browsing through my old Gazette magazines and I picked up the January/February 1982 issue where I found an interesting article. In this long-out-of print magazine, I found an article about casting detail parts. In that article Terry Metcalfe described how he cast parts by melting beads of a thermoplastic called “Makit and Bakit” beads in RTV molds using an ordinary kitchen oven.
