Labor Day Weekend Sale! And some Other Stuff, too!!

In addition to our (below) Labor Day Weekend Sale, Hurricane Dorian is expected to make Landfall on Florida's East Coast by Monday.

Atlanta weather forecasters are predicting that Dorian could possibly slow down significantly & turn North when crossing into Florida. I don't remember this sort of hurricane behavior during the 28 years that I lived in Florida. Our prayers go out to all our Friends and Family to be safe during this event.
This time last year some 700,000+ were expected and did come to see College Football Opening Weekend, the Dragon Con, something called "Clusterfest(?)" , Runfest and loads more things too many to name. The news here has been so focused on the hurricane and the possibility of Floridians evacuating to Georgia hardly a thing has been said about Atlanta Labor Day events this year. Anyway, Happy Labor Day America!
Also, we had another unhappy customer who missed the message (last year) about theCal Freight "tan" resin casting and issues of some paints not apply well.
Also, if you are an Ebay Customer frequenting our Ebay Store; first we'd like to apologize. The answer is NO; we do NOT add S&H Fees to our website postage calculations. And yes, we DO add S&H Fees to Ebay postage purchases because eBay Charges Seller Final Value Fees (10-12%) on the postage that Buyers pay and without the eBay S&H we would not receive enough to pay to mail the eBay purchase .

Customer Question: How come your products won't be paintable?

Our apologies for the challenges you are having painting the "tan" resin Cal Freight castings. You don't mention what type of paint it is that you are using, but because these tan Cal Fright are cast using a petroleum based resin (something we

do not use), along with mold release, painting these casting require either an automotive primer applied before painting or that you use enamel or lacquer based paints.
In case you missed our Newsletter article about the Cal Freight acquisition & this issue (a few years ago), along with the master patters, molds & assorted products, we received boxes of cast "tan" casting/details. As these tan casting supplies run out we cast the details either with a non-petroleum based resin or the Labstone/Dental Stone Gypsum that we cast 99% of our Scale Model Masterpieces kits & details.
If you feel that this is an issue you are not able to work around, please return the product for a refund. We appreciate your patience & understanding.
