More Snow is Coming...Really?

Last week while I was sorting out the OOP Category Description issue and I happened to notice that the thousands of Product "Likes" throughout our www.debenllc.com website had mysteriously disappeared. I thought, what the heck!? A call to our website hosting company and several days of sleuthing by the tech team it was discovered that way back in January when we had the SSL Certificate installed on our web site and the installation wiped out all the Likes! Darn it! We would greatly appreciate it if you might take a moment in your spare time and revisit any and all Doctor Ben's & Scale Model Masterpieces products that you can remembering having Liked and PLEASE Like them again. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding assisting us correct this issue.
Interesting conversation this past week with a potential Buyer for one of our businesses was that he purchased hobby businesses that had fallen off the face of the earth. I've seen this happen a number of times especially when the owner passes away and the family is left with the estate and not a clue what to do with the business. Any way, in the discussion he revealed that the business that he purchased which had a good deal of white metal casting was being partially offered by another hobby manufacturer. So he contacted the folks to see if they had a written agreement to reproduce his details. Apparently things heated up and didn't end friendly at all. Too bad, this sort of behavior is not good for our hobby. That's it for today ... got to get back to the Casting Room! Have a Weathered Model kind of day!

'Lots of small towns that can't afford the big, fancy jail with heating, electric and such. Heck, if it weren't for 'ol lady widow Nichols to bring a couple of meals a day to rowdy residents who reside for more than a night, folks just might forget about them. Those walls are two feet thick and the floor and roof are solid concrete-- ain't nobody with just a spoon gonna dig their way out of there. Maybe next time they'll not take shots at the picture of the Mayor's wife hanging over the bar!

This kit represents structures that were common from the old West and the Civil War to more contemporary times in small towns. The structure is very sturdily built of cut stone blocks atop a masonry type floor panel. The floor can be packed clay or concrete depending upon the era modeled. Every small town needs a jail.
