The Holidays Are Just Around the Corner! Starting off with some health news that Debbie & I received our Flu vaccines last week. Also, I received my COVID vaccine (#5) yesterday and Debbie will be receiving COVID vaccine in the next couple of days. This year instead of our annual trek to Maryland over Christmas & New Years, were changing our dates to be in Maryland over the Thanksgiving holidays. Hearts & Prayers to Hurricane Ian Folks! Although we in north Georgia were in the “cone of uncertainty”, many of our family and friends in Florida, South Carolina, & North Carolina were not nearly as lucky. Our hearts & prayers go out to everyone who were impacted by Ian’s wrath. In 1965 when we first moved back to the United States our first hurricane experience was Betsy in New Orleans followed up by living through 27 more years of hurricanes in Florida, so I can remember the chaos and heartache hurricanes can cause.
