2020 Half Gone & Going Fast ...

  We'll start off this Newsletter with a heavy heart that we lost a long time friends and fellow modeler, John Romig. Just a couple of years ago Debbie and I visited with John in St. Petersburg, FL where he had turned his home into a modeling workplace and model railroad display. John was a meticulous modeler and one of those guys that would always be there to help on a moments notice. I want to say that I remember John from back in the 1970's when I was President of the Suncoast Model RR Club. Debbie and I will miss you John.
  Lot's of thing going on including a behind the scenes of our www.debenllc.com website. Yet again, the *techies" say that it is the next generation of "hand-held devises friendly" design. Like last year, the new format is supposed to be less cluttered and easier to navigate. What do you think? Tell US!
  Are you an "Ebay Hater"? It seems that you are NOT alone. And come July 15th things may get even more disappointing. This is the day the eBay implemented the USA Seller Requirement that ALL Seller be enrolled in the eBay Managed Payments. Buyers will them pay eBay and the Seller is supposed to ship your purchases immediately and eventually eBay will make a bank deposit some days later (to be determined. This system has been in activation for over a year with a substantial amount of complaints and issues. Stay tuned!

  The Grocery in O Scale is the first of this series with a bunch more to follow in both O Scale AND HO Scale. Above and at left is the "finished" Pilot Model images, where I finally found some spare time to finish applying the signs and adding the details that are included in this kit.
