 This is the time of the year that we (in the United States) celebrate Memorial Day as an American holiday, observed on the last Monday in May each year. This event honors the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Unofficially, it marks the beginning of the summer season.
  We've have a number of New Product projects in the "pipeline" (including interviews for another new casting person to assist us in the casting room) and as the Projects get closer to become available we will update you on them both in our weekly Newsletter as well as on our Facebook pages.

For Sale: Scale Model Masterpieces (formerly Thomas A Yorke Ent)

  Effective July, 2009, DEBen LLC has purchased the products including but not limited to all kit master patterns, molds and drawings know also known as “Thomas Yorke Enterprises & Thomas A. Yorke Ent.” and all other entities used during this period prior to the year 2000 and formed the Scale Model Masterpieces (SMM) Craftsman Kit line. And then most recently, in March 2012, the California Freight & Details Company-HO & N (2012 & 2015) was also incorporated into Scale Model Masterpieces.

  The re-introduction of the Thomas A Yorke  & Cal Freight products has been a long and arduous process. And one of the changes that we've made is whenever possible we cast our detail parts and kits in the same Labstone that we use for our Thomas Yorke structure kits! The feedback on this change has been phenomenal from customers because the Labstone castings do not require all the extra preparation that metal and resin requires and since Labstone is more cost effective than metal and resin, this saves you money!
