Ready for Relaxing Restrictions?

  This is a scratch built model in O scale 1/4” for On30 so it is scaled down in size. It is freelanced based on prototype practice. Total cost was $4. Only non scratch built parts are Grandt bolt castings, two pulley blocks a length of pipe with a valve and the turnbuckles. All other parts including the spout and eye bolts are hand made. Weathering done with Dr. Ben Bendever weathering powders. Wood weathering by leather dye and red tank by craft paint. Thanks for watching!
  Please not that products such as leather dye and craft paints are NOT color-fast. Doctor Ben's products ARE color-fast and will NOT fade over time nor are Doctor Ben's products affected by the ultraviolet light rays from sunlight and fluorescent lights, both which radiate ultraviolet light rays. Scott will possibly share his Ash Pit project where he used Doctor Ben's Baby Building Blocs in its construction!

  Originally, Tom Yorke based the design of this structure on the Sierra Railroad's facility in Jamestown, California; high in the "mother loade." This *built-up* model should the lots of updates & some obvious changes from the original Yorke Ent kit.We have lots more images on our website of this *built-up* model.
  Unassembled kit updates include: Large Precision Cut sliding doors may be positioned inside or outside of the building; 2) We added a Loading Dock for Railroad access; 3) There is a stone foundation with a cast basement access (lower right of picture; 4) Precision Cut bracing in the cupola vent to simplify the construction process 5) Exterior details-some shown. 6) And a single stall outhouse (#SMM9501) CLICK HERE to see more!
